GA iPhone Edition is now available via Apple App Store

Yes we got your emails! We have been inundated with emails requesting we develop a version of Gurbani Anywhere for the iPhone series of devices and we did just that!

The Present & future?

Initially we decided to launch GA on Windows Mobile as our target platform, and have now successfully released Version 3.0, which should hopefully keep all you Windows Mobile users happy for a while, especially as it now includes Larivaar Gurbani display.

We have now also successfully released GA iPhone Edition Version 1.0, which will run on any Apple iPhone & iTouch device.

As we all know the variety of platforms vary from device to device, and not everyone will own a Windows Mobile or iPhone device, we are now allocating more time and effort on developing versions for the following platforms:

  • Google Android
  • Symbian - This will support the majority of Nokia devices
  • Blackberry
  • Windows Desktop (Vista, Windows 7)
  • Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu)

We are a very small team with limited funding, so we will try our very best to have beta versions within the next few months.

Thanks!

How did the project start?

Wanted to give something back to the Sikh community. Coming from a technology background, it made sense to play on our strengths.

Promote & provide instant access to Sikh religious text and Gurbani for todays techi youth.

And finally to help divert some of our time away from daily work duties and work on more panthic projects.
