Help?

I have copied tha downloaded file to my storage card in my phone, click to install and then get the message "Installation of GA_WM_2_0_2.CAB was unsuccessful".

What am i doing wrong?

Make & Model of device:

Version of Windows Mobile:

Version of GA:

Apologies.. I should have mentioned.

HTC Touch HD. running windows 6.1

GA version 2.0.2

I am probabably doing something wrong...

Thank you for the details.

We have had many successfull installations on the HTC Touch HD, so i suspect the installation file may be being corrupted at download.

Please try downloading the file again, then unzip on your computer and then copy the .cab file to your mobile device using Windows Mobile Sync software or Active Sync.

If you are using a flash memory card reader to copy the file to your memory card please ensure it copies over ok and then safely remove the device i.e. memory card reader before pulling out of your usb slot.

Thanks guys for the advice. It seems like it got a step further. This time I used the sync to sync the files to my device rather than copy it over. However I got a message which referred to some OLEs. I can't recreate and I have tried to re-install after removing the program.

I can seach using ang number it seems the search is not working, Any suggestions?

To ensure there is not a software problem / bug with your HTC Touch HD please try the following.

1. Hard reset your device - How to?

(this will wipe your device back to factory settings. You can backup your contacts using active sync)

2. Download latest version of GA

3. Unzip the file on your computer and copy the .cab file across to your device

4. Try installing

(please refrain from installing other applications until you have done the above)

Guys, I have been trying off & on for months now. I now get the following message:

GurbaniAnywhere.exe NotSupportedException

at Microsoft .AGL.Common.MISC.HandleAR0 at System.WIndows.Forms.Control.InitInstance....

 

Its goes on & on. Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong here? I have the HTC S620. Thanks.
