I had this message as well but what I think I was doing was that I was copying the winzip folder and then expanding to browse to the cab file so in that way it was telling me that installation was unsuccesful.
In second try I opened winzip folder on my PC and extracted the cab file to my mobile and then I browsed for this cab file on my mobile and it worked fine.
